NAOTO NAGANE

Naoto Nagane

Nickname: Naoto Date of birth: 1991/12/3
Hometown: Hokkaido Diving experience: Over 10 years Captain experience: Over 10 years Living in Ishigaki: Over 10 years Qualifications: PADI instructor/PADI EFR instructor/Class 1 small boat operator/Specific operator license/Diver

Born and raised in the northern land of Hokkaido, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery at the age of 20. (It's not like I was running away from something lol)

The final destination of our trip was Ishigaki Island, where we traveled with our family when we were little.

At first, I was helping out at sea for a short period of time, but before I knew it, 10 years had passed and I had earned my captain's and then instructor's qualifications.

I wanted to share the charm and splendor of Yaeyama's sea with as many people as possible, so after 10 years of training, I decided to open my business.

For those who come to PIRICA, we will cherish the once-in-a-lifetime feeling and provide guides that will make them want to come back again.

MANAMI TAIRA

Taira Manami

Nickname: Manami, Manamin Date of birth: 07/14
Birthplace: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture
Diving experience: 7 years Living in Ishigaki: 4 years (returning)
Qualifications: PADI Divemaster / Second Class Small Boat Operator / Special Small Boat Operator / Diver

In 2017, I suddenly landed on Ishigaki Island with just one suitcase.

I worked as a marine staff member at the same shop as Naoto for about three years, then spent four years in Australia and at a local aquarium, but I decided that if I was going to work at sea, Ishigaki Island was the place to be! So I came back to my beloved Ishigaki Island.

I still have a lot to learn so that I can convey the fun and joy to as many people as possible, but I will do my best to guide my guests both on land and sea (seriously and playfully) so that they can have fun!
